The marketing industries have improved its way of getting to its customers and also bringing in new customers. Social networking sites such as Facebook, twitter and MySpace are being used as a means of advertising to new and current customers. Since there are millions of users on Facebook, these different advertisements are seen around the world.

Need:
Gen Y should consider the following things:
· Gen Y should use Facebook or any other social networking media as a form of B2C to advertise its product and also to communicate with its customers.
· Business management by Gen Y on Facebook should be considered free.
· Advertisements should be made free to since Facebook promotes anything that is business orientated. For example the ‘Market’ application on Facebook that allows transaction between C2C, B2C and B2B.

Gen Y should have all these in consideration when it comes to advertising their business on social networking websites like Facebook or Twitter. There are so many ways that Gen Y can use this to their own advantage.

  • What are the guarantees that in a couple of years, social networking advertising will not fade out like newspapers and radio?

· By advertising on social networking, what percentages of users actually pay attention to the ads online?
· Will Gen Y users more productive by using any social website?

The report will include all these things.
